Origin and production period:
Produced in the South China Sea, it is widely distributed on the coasts of Guangdong and Guangxi, especially in the Beihai City of Guangxi.
Introduction:
Japanese Sun Moon shells are round and round, with two lights equal, and their diameter is about 10 cm. The central part protrudes slightly outward. The front and rear ears are small and the edges are linearly inclined. The surfaces of both shells are smooth, with fine concentric growth veins, and the left shell is thicker and more pronounced than the right shell. The two shells have different colors. The pale color of the left shell surface; light brown inside, slightly shiny. The surface of the right shell is light yellow with white; the inner surface is white with apricot-yellow edges, with 36 to 15 radiating ribs. The middle of the hinge line is slightly convex and the inner ligament is brownish brown. Long Riyue Riyuebei is similar to Japan's Sun and Moon, and it is small. The surface of the left shell is red, shiny, with a slight violet colour on the inside. The right shell is white on both sides and has long radiating ribs, totaling about 21-29.
