Morphological characteristics:

Medium-sized virgin fern. The main stems are sprawling, about 1m long, with sparse branches. There are adventitious roots at the nodes, and the leaves are ovate and sparse in two rows. Repeatedly forked. There are two types of nutrient leaf, two in dorsoventral and abdomen, and the abdomen is long ovate, oblate and oblong, entire, spreading to both sides.

The sporangial spikes are tetragonal in shape, with spore leaves ovate in triangle and four in imbricate. It is native to China's central, southwest and southern provinces (districts).

Origin distribution:

Originates from the central, southwest, and southern provinces of China.

Born more than 40-1000m above sea level on the wet rocks, slopes or valleys in the jungle.

Growth habits:

Hi warm and humid half-negative environment, basin soil should be loose and permeable and rich in humus, can be mixed with the same amount of rot leaf soil or peat, loam and plain sand mixed preparation. During the growing season, pay attention to water spray and maintain high air humidity. In winter, the temperature must not fall below 5°C. It is necessary to enter the room for winter and the temperature is too low. The leaves will shrink and become brown. Cold watering in winter can also damage the foliage. Generally 2-3 years to update once.

The ideal growth temperature is 10-15°C at night and 21-26° daylight. Pay special attention to shading. Strong light will cause the blue-green color to disappear and affect the viewing. During the growing season, apply liquid fertilizer once a month.

Breeding:

Common ramets and cutting propagation. The ramets were changed during the period of April-May, and the growth-intensive plants were split and planted and placed in a humid environment. Cuttings can be cut in the spring, the cut stems directly inserted in the sand bed, keep moist, about half a month rooting.

Cultivation:

During the growing season, watering and spraying water should be done regularly. During the summer, it is necessary to pay attention to shading and fertilize once every half month. Tropism of taste: sweet, light, cool.

Indications:

Heat and dampness, stop bleeding, stop coughing. For acute icteric infectious hepatitis, cholecystitis, enteritis, dysentery, nephritis edema, urinary tract infections, rheumatic joint pain, tuberculosis hemoptysis; topical treatment of carbuncle swollen, burns, traumatic bleeding, bruises.

Dosage: 0.5 to 1; topical application of fresh whole grass mash, or whole grass dried powder external application of the affected area.
