The food packaging sealing tester determines the sealing performance of the sample by observing the pressure difference between the inside and the outside of the sample immersed in the water by vacuuming the vacuum chamber; thereby determining the sealing performance of the sample; by vacuuming the vacuum chamber, The sample is subjected to a pressure difference between the inside and the outside, and the shape of the sample is recovered after the sample is expanded and the vacuum is released, thereby determining the sealing performance of the sample.
Food packaging sealing tester operation
1 Inject clean water into the vacuum chamber, the height exceeds the surface of the bottom plate on the cylinder head, and put the sample. The distance between the top surface of the sample and the water surface should not be lower than 25 mm to ensure the sealing effect, and sprinkle a little water on the sealing ring.
2 Cover the sealing cover of the vacuum chamber, turn the switch on the tester to the open position, adjust the control knob of the tester (see above for adjustment method), observe the vacuum pressure gauge, and adjust the pressure to the stable value required for the test. .
3 to reach the required pressure, turn the tester to the off position, keep the vacuum, the timer starts to count, observe the sample, and reach the dwell time.
Note: The adjusted vacuum value is determined according to the characteristics of the sample (such as the packaging materials used, the sealing conditions, etc.) or the relevant product standards.
4 Leakage of the sample during vacuum evacuation and after the preset vacuum is reached, depending on whether or not continuous bubbles are generated. A single isolated bubble is generally not considered a sample leak.
5 When the pressure holding time is reached, the switch on the instrument is turned to the off position, the vacuum is removed, the sealing cover is opened, the test sample is taken out, the water on the surface is wiped clean, and the surface damage result of the packaging bag is observed.
