According to statistics from Kunming Customs, from January to July this year, the export of agricultural products in Yunnan Province was in a good state, with a total of 348,000 tons of exports, up 9.9% from the same period of last year. Among them, the export volume of 7 kinds of agricultural products such as pomegranates, grapes and cabbage ranks first in the country.

The reporter learned from Kunming Customs on the 22nd that, from January to July of this year, Yunnan's agricultural exports reached 730 million U.S. dollars, an increase of 44% over the same period of the previous year. Among them, the province's fruit exports 28,600,000 US dollars, an increase of 10.5%. Pomegranates, grapes, peaches, plums and plums were exported to five countries, namely, US$5.12 million, US$5.8 million, US$2.58 million and US$9.9 million, respectively. At the same time, the province’s total exports of vegetables amounted to 147,000 tons, an increase of 7.2% year-on-year, generating foreign exchange of 210 million US dollars, an increase of 78.3%. Among them, exports of cabbage and cauliflower were 36.6 million U.S. dollars, an increase of 1.1 times, and the largest foreign exchange earned in the country. In addition, the export value of specialty agricultural products such as flowers, tobacco and coffee all increased significantly.

According to relevant person in charge of the Kunming Customs, from January to July, Yunnan's foreign trade volume totaled 7.72 billion U.S. dollars, an increase of 1.07 times over the same period of the previous year. Among them, agricultural products accounted for 16.2% of the province's total foreign trade exports, and ASEAN agricultural products exported US$320 million, an increase of 78% year-on-year.
