Precautions for use of laboratory equipment drying high temperature equipment

Dry and high temperature equipment is a common laboratory equipment, such as drying ovens and high temperature furnaces. This is a matter of concern when using these equipments in Suzhou Jiangdong.

First, the use of high temperature furnace (box type resistance furnace)
1. When operating a high temperature furnace (box type resistance furnace), the furnace temperature should not exceed the maximum furnace temperature, and do not work above the rated temperature for a long time. For example, the model SX2-4-10, its maximum rated temperature is 1000 ° C, the general use of the highest temperature is around 950 ° C, so you have to pay attention to the setting.

2. It is forbidden to inject any liquid into the furnace of high-temperature furnace type electric resistance furnace. Do not put the sample with water and oil into the furnace; 3. Do not use the clip with water and oil to take the sample.

4. Wear special gloves when handling samples to prevent burns.

5. When picking up and placing samples in the furnace, the power should be turned off first and gently handled to ensure safety and avoid damage to the furnace. Always turn off the power when handling the sample to prevent electric shock.

6. When the sample is taken, the opening time of the furnace door should be as short as possible. After the equipment is used, the sample should be taken out from the furnace in time, the heating is turned off and the power is turned off.

Second, the drying box (oven) use precautions
If abnormality, odor, smoke, etc. occur during the use of the drying oven (oven), please turn off the power immediately, and the user should not blindly repair. Please contact our customer service manager at 0512-69353538 for professional repair. (The new machine will have odor and a small amount of smoke when it is first turned on. Do not put flammable and volatile chemicals into the dry box.

The wall of the tank wall and the surface of the equipment should be wiped frequently to keep it clean and increase the transparency of the glass. Do not wipe the outer surface with acid, alkali or other corrosive solutions.

If the drying box is not used for a long time, unplug the power cord to prevent equipment damage. It should be operated regularly (usually in the first quarter) for 2-3 days according to the conditions of use to remove the moisture from the electrical parts and avoid damage to the equipment.
