Pigeon incubation period management

From pigeon pairing to spawning, after 10 days to 12 days. When the first egg is produced, it is from 4 to 6 in the afternoon. Every other day, from the 2nd to the 4th of the third day, a second egg is produced. Pigeons usually produce 2 eggs.

Two eggs produced by a nest of pigeons are often hatched more than one day after hatching. When the second young pigeon was broken, the first one had grown a lot. When the pro pigeons are feeding, the larger young pigeons always have to eat more. Over time, it will cause two young chicks, one strong and one weak. This kind of unfavorable phenomenon is not often found in pro-bred pro pigeons. However, in order to ensure even development of young pigeons, after the first pigeon produces the first egg, use a fake egg to swap out the real egg and pencil it on the egg. Specify the laying period and the number of the female pigeon's foot ring for identification purposes. One hour before the second egg is produced, the first egg is returned to the nest and the dummy egg is removed. In this way, after about 16 days, the two chicks can hatch at the same time. In order to grasp the relationship between breeders and breeders, it is necessary to draw up a table of breeding pigeons. When each pair of pigeons is paired, spawned, the date of birth of pigeons, the number of feet, gender, feather color, etc., should be recorded.

It is important to mention here the importance of egg shells for egg development. There is an oily layer outside the eggshell. Its role is to prevent bacterial invasion and excessive evaporation of water inside the egg. More importantly, there are countless tiny pores on the shell that act as respiration for embryonic development. If these pores are blocked by dirt, the embryo will suffocate and die. Therefore, it is very important to ensure the cleanliness of the pigeon eggs. During the incubation period, the pro-pigeon bath should be avoided to prevent the wet pigeon feathers from destroying the oily layer on the eggs and invading the bacteria. The breeder should always observe the pigeon eggs. If there are dirt on the eggs, they should be promptly removed.

The hatching of the pro pigeons is very regular. At about 9:00 am, the cocks usually enter the nesting room to replace the females. The breeding birds are exchanged at 5 pm and the hens hatch all night. This rotation takes place until the squadron is about a week after birth and it is never disturbed. After grasping this law, they can put them out of their sheds and fly on time. This is an important measure to ensure their health. In the morning before the cocks have not hatched, let it fly out of the shed for about half an hour. At 4 o'clock in the afternoon, let the hens move out of the shed for 40 minutes. After eating, fill in the nest and replace the cocks. Then let the cocks move out of the shed for 30 minutes. In this way, the pro-pigeons have the opportunity to exercise every day to ensure their physical health.

Some of the cocks are not very hatchy and did not enter the nest to replace the hens at 9 o'clock. Or, as long as the hens enter the room during the day, the cocks sneak out. The hen's hatching time is long, and the cock's lazyness makes it less time for the hens to rest and it will inevitably affect their health. At this time, measures must be taken to force the cocks to hatch in order to reduce the burden on the hens. After the cocks have entered the nest and replace the hens, they can close the nest door and prevent the hen from entering, forcing the cock to leave. Wait until the hen is well sported and full in the afternoon, then open the nest door and let the hen replace the cock.

Feed hatchery pigeons, generally with corn, brown rice, rice, wheat, soybeans, peas, etc., with the supply of a single food must not be to prevent the supply of multiple amino acids. Green fodder should be washed and chopped and often supplied, and mineral feeds are indispensable.

When feeding feed, be sure to feed. Pigeons drink plenty of water after eating, which is a sign of fullness. Do not leave food overnight in the food bowl to prevent rats from eating and contaminating food. After 2 weeks of incubation, feed some millet feeds to the breeding pigeons. Because miller pigeons start to produce milk during this time, millet is good for the formation of pigeon milk.

After the hatchlings are hatched, the feed required for the pro pigeons is increasing, and it is necessary to increase the amount of food in the morning and evening meals. After the pro pigeons have been eaten in the morning, they can stop supplying them. After the pro pigeons have fed the young pigeons in the afternoon, they need to add another food so that the pro pigeons can have their own meal. This will not only benefit the growth and development of young pigeons, but also prevent the relatives of the pigeons from becoming obese.
