Maintenance of motor vehicle cooling system

(1) Check whether the blades of the blinds are fully open, and whether the blades have a 90-degree angle with the radiator. If not, adjust them in time; check the connection between the blade connecting rods of the blinds and the shaft holes of the connecting rods and the fixing bolts. No loose deformation, if loose deformation, should be tightened or replaced. (2) Check the connecting bolts of the fan blades and the belt pulley. If there is looseness, tighten the bolts; check whether the fan blades are broken or deformed. If this happens, repair or replace them in time. (3) Check the fixed condition of the pump housing on the engine. If there is looseness, it should be tightened; check the water pump housing for cracks and water leakage. If this happens, repair or replacement is required. (4) Check the cooling fan belt tension. The method is: Apply about 4 kilograms of pressure on the connecting belt between the fan and the engine pulley. If the belt pressure is less than 15 mm, the engine should be moved to adjust. (5) Check the thermostat's working condition. If the temperature of the cooling water rises slowly after the motor vehicle is started in the cold state, the radiator cap should be opened to check the water temperature; if the water in the cylinder block water jacket and the water in the radiator are found to be warming at the same time, the section temperature The device is not working properly or fails and should be repaired or replaced. (6) Clean the cylinder water jacket and the scale in the tank. After stirring with 8% hydrochloric acid and water, add the water tank, start the engine, keep the temperature at 70°C, release the cleaning product after 40 minutes of operation, then close the water valve, add 8% caustic soda solution, and restart the engine. After a few minutes, all the cleaning materials are discharged; finally, rinse with clean water until the released water becomes clear, and then remove the water damper plate to remove the deposited dirt.

Standardized Herbal Extract

A standardized herbal extract is an herb extract that has one or more components present in a specific, guaranteed amount, usually expressed as a percentage. The intention behind the standardization of herbs is to guarantee that the consumer is getting a product in which the chemistry is consistent from batch to batch. This practice has developed out of the drug model of herbal medicine, in which modern scientists have attempted to identify the components of a plant that have definite pharmacological activity in the body. Unfortunately, while scientists can isolate many constituents from an herb and discover how particular chemicals may act in the body, they inadvertently remove or overlook components that may contribute to the activity of the whole herb. Consequently, standardization may concentrate one constituent at the expense of other potentially important ones, while changing the natural balance of the herb`s components.
