Three points for formulating pig feed

Dietary diarrhea is a common disease of yak mainly due to improper diet or poor breast milk and dairy products.

1. Symptoms: calves within 10 days of age, indigestion and diarrhea. One-month-old yaks have dark red stools, blood soup-like, or fecal white, dry and hard, which is related to over-eating breast milk or dairy products. Over 1 month old yak, dilute feces, dark green or dark brown, containing relatively dry lump.

2. Treatment: The principle of treatment is stomach and bowel cleansing, anti-inflammatory, and prevention of secondary infection and dehydration. Reduce the amount of milk (instead of using warm boiled water), or stop eating for 24 hours, and then give oral rehydration solution. After diarrhea is reduced, gradually feed normal milk.
