Fighting piglets emergency 10

Some piglets are born with body cramps and no breathing, but their hearts are still beating. If not rescued properly or in time, they can progress from a state of suspended animation to true death. Before starting any first aid, it's crucial to clear the mucus from the piglet’s mouth and nasal passages by gently suctioning or wiping it out with sterile gauze or a clean towel. Then, dry the piglet’s body thoroughly to help stimulate circulation and warmth. Here are 10 effective methods for emergency care: 1. Immediately cover the piglet’s nose and mouth with your hand while holding its anus with the other hand and pinching the umbilical cord. When the piglet shows signs of struggling to breathe deeply, gently touch its mouth to encourage deeper breaths. Repeat this process several times until the piglet starts breathing on its own. 2. Lay the piglet on a soft mat. Gently stretch its front or hind legs repeatedly to help promote breathing and circulation. 3. Place the piglet on its back with your hands under its shoulders and supporting its buttocks. Gently bend and straighten its body in a rhythmic motion until it starts making sounds or breathing normally. 4. Turn the piglet upside down by lifting its hind legs and gently shaking it. Tap its chest or back until it begins to breathe. 5. Use a small hose or plastic tube to blow air into the piglet’s nostrils or mouth, helping to stimulate respiration. 6. Wipe the piglet’s nose with a cloth soaked in alcohol or ammonia, or use a needle to prick the nose and legs slightly to stimulate breathing. 7. Place the piglet in warm water (around 40°C) and expose its ears, mouth, nose, and eyes. Leave it there for about 5 minutes, then remove it and dry it carefully to help restore its vitality. 8. Lay the piglet on soft grass and keep the umbilical cord about 20–30 cm long. Hold one end of the cord and slowly move your hand from the end toward the belly, once per second. After 30 consecutive movements, the piglet may begin to breathe deeply. If you continue for more than 40 times, it might start crying. Usually, 50 to 70 movements can save the piglet. 9. Hold the piglet by the neck and gently massage its chest until it shows signs of recovery. 10. If the piglet is in a soft, dough-like state due to short-term oxygen deprivation, gently rub both sides of its body to improve blood circulation and help it regain consciousness. These techniques should be performed quickly and with care, as every second counts in saving a newborn piglet. Always ensure the environment is warm and the piglet is kept dry after resuscitation.

Upper Limb Locking Plate

Upper limb locking plate system consists of ulna radius locking plates, humerus locking plates, clavicle locking plates, scapula locking plates, locking screw and cortical screw.

The locking plate also has locking or non-locking screw holes for different trauma screws. In the internal fixation of the upper limb, four locking screws are generally used, which are mainly divided into 2.7mm and 3.5mm diameter.
