Rotary cultivator safety operation requirements
1. When operating a rotary cultivator, never insert the blade into the soil or place it in contact with the ground before starting the machine. Always ensure the engine is running and the blades are spinning before engaging with the soil to prevent damage and ensure safe operation.
2. During operation, avoid making sharp turns or reversing. If turning or moving backward is necessary, lift the cultivator first to clear the ground. When raising or lowering the machine, reduce your speed and avoid lifting it too high. The universal joint should not be angled beyond 30 degrees to prevent mechanical stress and potential failure.
3. Before cleaning around the rotary cultivator, removing debris, tightening parts, or replacing the coulter, always turn off the power and let the engine stop completely. This ensures safety and prevents accidental movement that could lead to injury or damage.
4. When the tractor makes a turn on the field, hold the hand-held frame for stability. Once the rotary plow is lifted from the ground, disengage the steering clutch to avoid unnecessary strain on the machine and improve maneuverability.
5. When transferring between fields or crossing over turf, always switch off the power and raise the cultivator to its highest position. Never sit in the driver's seat while moving the tractor across the field. When working in paddy fields or on steep slopes with high canopies, it's safer to drive in reverse when going uphill to maintain control and prevent tipping.
