Winter gourd cultivation of zucchini winter warm greenhouse

Before planting zucchini, it's essential to prepare the soil properly. Start by applying a base fertilizer and then perform deep plowing and ridge formation according to the layout: 90 cm between large rows, 60 cm between small rows, and a planting distance of 55-70 cm. Dig shallow trenches and place the seedlings inside. Then, mound the soil from both sides of the seedling to form ridges that are 25-30 cm high and about 25-30 cm wide. After placing the seedlings, water them and cover with mulch after 2-3 days. During this process, there are several important points to keep in mind. First, apply fertilizer evenly across the field before planting and avoid using chemical fertilizers or chicken manure directly in the planting trench, as this can burn the seedlings. Make sure to water thoroughly without opening the irrigation holes. When the temperature inside the greenhouse reaches 30°C, it’s important to ventilate to cool down and reduce humidity. Use plastic film that is 1.5 meters wide, ensuring the openings are small and the edges are tightly sealed. The mulch on the small furrows should be smooth and even. After planting the zucchini seedlings, they enter a critical pre-management phase. With proper care, the seedlings will establish roots quickly and grow steadily. During this time, maintain daytime temperatures between 25-30°C. On clear days, make sure to remove the straw cover early so the seedlings receive adequate sunlight. At the same time, keep the ground temperature around 20-23°C to support healthy growth. Once the seedlings have adjusted, gradually lower the temperature. Daytime should be kept at 20-25°C, and nighttime at 12-16°C. This helps prevent the seedlings from becoming leggy. As the plants move into the pre-transplanting stage, it's time to apply a top dressing. Mix 10 kg of diammonium phosphate per 667 square meters or a similar fertilizer with the water, and apply it through a small furrow under the plastic film. If there is no severe drought before the fruit starts setting, avoid watering to encourage root development and fruit formation.
