When the nighttime temperature is higher than 18°C, the night ventilation should be strengthened (the venting at the front face and the air at the top) to reduce the temperature, and the temperature difference between day and night should be maintained at about 15°C. After enough work is done, if the temperature inside the shed is still high, spray water or pouring small water can be used to assist in cooling.

Soil moisture is an essential ecological factor for vegetable growth.
